The CPGE™ certification is designed for individuals who aspire to improve their guest experience knowledge and skills. There are no eligibility requirements.

Steps to Get Certified

The general steps to earn the CPGE™ is to submit an application online, take the 3-hour class online or in-person, then successfully complete the 30-question test.

The CPGE™ includes a 3-hour, in person, class. The curriculum is crafted to provide a comprehensive framework for mastering guest service excellence.

CERTIFICATION EXAM
The certification exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions, can be taken online or at the in-class program.  The passing score is 70%; retakes are permitted without a waiting period with a fee, but must be completed within 90 days.
RECERTIFICATION TIME ALLOWED THE HANDBOOK
Recertification, with a fee, is required (no further exams are required) five years after earning the certification.  Recertification includes a 1-hour refresher class delivered online. From application to test completion: 90 days. For more details and procedures, please read the official Handbook.
